Cape Cod is where I grew up, and after more than 15 years photographing weddings around the world, it feels good to be photographing them back home.
I’m Daniel Baci, an award-winning Cape Cod wedding photographer with more than 700 weddings photographed since 2011. My work has taken me throughout Thailand and to destination weddings in places including Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali and the Maldives. Along the way, I was named Thailand Wedding Photographer of the Year by LUXLife Magazine in 2019, 2024 and 2025.
Today, I bring that experience back to the place where my story began. I photograph weddings across Cape Cod and work as a Massachusetts wedding photographer during the summer months, with an approach that blends candid storytelling, natural emotion and timeless portraits.
I know every wedding is different, and I don’t believe yours should feel like a staged photo shoot. My goal is simple: create beautiful photographs while giving you the space to actually enjoy your wedding.

Local Roots, A Global Perspective
Growing up on Cape Cod gave me a connection to this place long before I ever picked up a professional camera.
My career eventually took me much farther from home. I’ve been based in Thailand since 2009 and began photographing weddings professionally in 2011. Since then, I’ve photographed more than 700 weddings—from intimate ceremonies and beachfront elopements to large destination celebrations with guests arriving from around the world.
Working across different countries, cultures, venues and weather conditions taught me something that matters at every wedding: things don’t always go exactly according to plan.
Light changes. Schedules run late. Weather turns. Emotions take over.
Experience means knowing when to step in, when to adapt and, just as importantly, when to stay out of the way and let a moment happen.
Now that I’m spending my summers back in Massachusetts, I’m excited to bring that experience home to Cape Cod.

My Approach to Cape Cod Wedding Photography
My photography is a mixture of documentary storytelling and carefully considered portraiture.
For most of the wedding day, I’m watching rather than directing. I want the laughter during preparations, your parents’ reactions during the ceremony, the unexpected moments between friends, and everything happening around you that you may not even notice at the time.
When it’s time for portraits, I’ll give you direction when you need it without forcing you through endless poses.
I also put a lot of thought into the wedding timeline before the day arrives. Good photography isn’t just about owning the right camera or knowing where to stand. Having enough time, understanding the light and knowing when important moments are going to happen can completely change the final collection.
The result I’m after is a gallery that feels polished and timeless, but still feels unmistakably like your wedding.

Cape Cod offers an incredible variety of places to get married.
There are waterfront resorts and private estates, historic inns, country clubs, gardens and classic New England venues that feel completely different from one town to the next.
Whether you’re planning a large summer celebration, a smaller destination wedding or an intimate ceremony with your closest family and friends, I’ll work with you before the wedding to understand the venue, schedule and photographs that matter most to you.
While Cape Cod is home, my summer wedding photography takes me throughout Massachusetts and New England. I’m available for weddings across the Cape, the North Shore, Greater Boston and beyond, from intimate coastal ceremonies to country clubs, private estates and larger destination celebrations.

To ensure each wedding receives personal attention, I accept only 15 weddings per season. My availability runs from June through September, which aligns with the peak wedding season in New England. Early booking is essential to secure your date and receive a personalized, stress-free experience.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned after hundreds of weddings is that great wedding photography doesn’t happen in isolation.
It takes teamwork.
Before your wedding, I’ll help you look at the photography timeline and identify anything that could leave us rushed or cause you to miss an opportunity for photographs.
That might mean adjusting the getting-ready schedule, allowing more time before the ceremony, planning portraits around sunset or simply making sure we’re not trying to squeeze an hour’s worth of photographs into twenty minutes.
You shouldn’t have to spend your wedding worrying about any of this. That’s part of my job.
By the time the wedding arrives, I want us to have a plan—and enough flexibility to forget about that plan when something better happens.

Cape Cod Elopements & Intimate Weddings
Not every wedding needs ten hours of photography or a hundred guests.
I also photograph Cape Cod elopements, micro-weddings and intimate celebrations for couples who want something smaller and more personal.
These weddings often give us more freedom with the schedule and more time to concentrate on the couple, location and people closest to them.
Micro-wedding coverage currently ranges from $2,500–$4,000, depending on the date, location and number of hours required.

Cape Cod Engagement Photography
Engagement sessions are a chance to create something together without the timeline of a wedding day hanging over us.
They’re also a great opportunity for us to work together before the wedding, particularly if you don’t normally feel comfortable having your photograph taken.
Sessions can be relaxed, adventurous, elegant or incredibly simple. What matters is that the photographs feel like the two of you.

Family & Portrait Session
Beyond weddings, I offer family portraits, milestone sessions, and intimate couple photography. These sessions are designed to capture your relationships authentically, in natural light and beautiful surroundings.
Coverage Areas
I also photograph weddings across Massachusetts, including Boston, North Shore, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard. For couples outside these areas, I am available for destination weddings throughout the United States. This flexibility ensures your wedding photography captures the unique beauty of your chosen location.

After confirming you would like to book me as your wedding photographer, I would just require a small deposit followed by a signed contract/agreement and we are good to go!. But the deposit itself is the confirmation.
Sooner the better as my Cape Cod wedding schedule will fill up fast and I only accept 25 weddings yearly. The average couple books me 4-12 months in advance, contact me to see my availability.
This will depend on the time of the year, during the high season (June-Sep), if your wedding is in the middle of high season chances are I may have 10+ weddings to edit before yours. I commit to you 3 month delivery time but in many cases I am able to deliver your wedding photos in 3-6 weeks.
Full wedding photography currently ranges from approximately $4,000–$8,000, while micro-wedding coverage generally ranges from $2,500–$4,000. Final pricing depends on your date, location, hours of coverage and requirements.
Absolutely. In addition to Cape Cod, I’m available in Boston, North Shore, throughout Massachusetts and New England and can travel elsewhere in the United States for the right wedding.
